The first thing that I always hear when someone is led through a show house is "Oh, the wood smells wonderful!" and then usually "It radiates such warmth!".

In actual fact, studies have confirmed that people feel warmer at lower temperatures – 2°C lower – in wooden houses than those built of stone. The natural colours, as well as the characteristic, incomparably warm surface of the wood are important factors here.

Wood can be processed in line with individual requirements and is a very durable building material. Old wooden houses that are centuries old demonstrate this quality feature. In order to ensure enough of this renewable raw material for future generations, we only use wood that comes from controlled and sustainable cultivation.
